CORDYLINE CAN CAN

This evergreen shrub boasts an upright, palm-like habit with sword-shaped leaves that arch gracefully from its slender, woody stems. The leaves are the main attraction, presenting a playful mix of pink, green, cream, and red hues that change and intensify as they mature. Although it blooms with small, white or pale pink flowers, they are often overshadowed by the striking foliage.

Despite its exotic appearance, the 'Can Can' is not invasive and maintains a moderate size, reaching about 5 to 6 feet in height and spreading 2 to 3 feet.To 40 feet or more where hardy.

Hardy in USDA zones 7 to 10, the 'Can Can' is suitable for both garden beds and containers, making it a versatile choice for adding vertical interest and a tropical feel to various settings. 

While it is non-toxic to humans, it can be mildly toxic to pets if ingested. With good drought tolerance once established, it's also a candidate for xeriscaping in warmer climates.
